Buttered Pan Bacon Cheddar Biscuits
This recipe was adapted with permission from Epic Vegan Quick-and-Easy by Dustin Harder. You won't believe how flaky and buttery these biscuits are, and best of all, they take less than 30 minutes.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Combine milk and apple cider vinegar and set aside to thicken, about 5 minutes.
Add butter to an 8x8" pan and place in the oven for 2-4 minutes, until butter has melted.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Use a wooden spoon to stir in the milk mixture. Mix until almost fully combined, but not fully combined.
Fold in cheddar and Bacon Seitan.
Add the dough on top of the melted butter, using a spatula to spread it into the corners.
Use a butter knife to score the unbaked biscuit, making three lines in one direction and three lines the other way so you have nine squares.
Bake 23-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool slightly. Best served warm.
